Camp Secretaries, Treasurers, and Commanders,

An item that needs some attention and correction. Camp Status Report – Form 30 is the Swiss Army knife of our organization. Among other things, this form helps Brothers get their Banner on time! It also helps It changes the status of a Brother for:

• New Brother / Reinstated Brother / Transfers In / Out
• Primary Camp / Dual Camp
• Change of Status (e.g. Associate to Member, Junior to Member, etc).
• Discharges (e.g. Honorable, Dishonorable, Discharge)
• Death
• Members with changed status (Active duty / Veteran, ROTC, BSA Eagle Scout)
• Changes of Address, Phone, etc.

Other forms may accompany this Form, but this is the main one. It is due to the Department Secretary / Treasurer by the 15th of every month. If a Brother’s status changes, the Form 30 goes to the Department, and then it goes to National.

Page 2 of the form shows how to do the math if fees are due. Department dues are $5 and not pro-rated.

Please make these forms a priority. Too often these are turned in at the end of the year, and a Brother has not been recorded by National with the privileges of a Brother for months. I think we can agree that this is disrespectful.
